Elders and youth learn together
Grandparents & Grandchildren
Grow, Build & Leave Your Story is our free,
10-week Saturday program at SpaceLab St. Pete.
Elders and youth ages 8–14 grow food, share meals and community, explore family finances and land, and learn from one another.
Youth interview their elders to create family memoirs, preserving memories in their own words.

What You Grow
Grow nourishing food with sustainable methods, from a tower at home to a community garden or family land. Learn how a harvest can feed a family and create income.

What You Know
Learn what many families were never taught about grocery budgeting, family finances, land, and planning ahead. Bring questions to the table before a crisis.
OWN
What You Own
Understand the value of family land, explore land access, and learn about USDA registration, heirs’ property, and keeping land for the next generation.

What You Leave Behind
Youth interview elders to turn memories, recipes, and life lessons into family memoirs. Preserve your voice and give the next generation a story to carry forward.
Palatka: A Future Place to Learn
Our vision for Palatka brings growing, land education, and family stories together. The half-acre parcel is raw, privately owned family land registered with USDA. A proposed lease for Foundation use awaits attorney and board review. Hydroponics, aquaponics, gardens, and a memoir pavilion are future concepts, not operating facilities.
Tamika Ngaham — Founder & Executive Director
As a licensed nursing home administrator, Tamika Ngaham saw families face questions about care costs, homes, and trusts during a crisis. She founded The Legacy Table Foundation to bring those conversations back to the family table—early, together, and across generations.
